Koala

The Koala class had a very busy last term in school. We had lots of exciting events and activities.
We celebrated friendship week in school in May. We read the story Paper Dolls by Julia Donaldson. Inspired by the story we made paper dolls for our secret friend for the week.

In May we went on our school tour to Tír na Sí in Watergrasshill.
We had a fantastic day and we all agreed that it was one of our highlights of our year. We had lots of fun in their indoor and outdoor play area. We went on a train ride around the farm and we even got to feed the animals.
We had our Teddy Bears picnic towards the end of June.
We were so lucky to have a sunny day for it. We introduced our teddy bear to the class, had a tasty picnic and read some stories to our teddies.
We got an oven installed in the school in June. Koala class were very excited to test it out. We made cupcakes and even decorated them afterwards. They were very tasty.
