As part of the Creative Schools Project, the Lion Class spent the afternoon studying a painting by Niamh Sharkey, which is currently on loan to our school.
Niamh Sharkey is an award winning author and illustrator of children’s books who lives in Dublin.
We responded to the painting by doing a simple drawing activity to celebrate everyone’s unique style and focused on individuality.
We started in the school and ended up finishing our drawing outside in our new outdoor classroom.
